Edna Oil Company LLC of El Dorado is the operator and Sewell Drilling is the contractor for the Myer No. 9, 742 feet FNL and 1,366 feet FEL of Section 32-15S-16W in the Smackover Field of Ouachita County. Permit depth is to 3,000 feet in the Tokio Zone. Work will start September 30.
Fite Oil & Gas of Shreveport is the operator and Mike Rogers Drilling is the contractor for the Monroe etal No. 1, 330 fee FEL and 2,344 feet FNL of Section 4-20S-26W in the Bradley West Field of Lafayette County. Permit depth is to 6,100 feet in the Mitchell Zone. Work began September 25.
Completions
Urban Oil & Gas of Plano, TX has completed the Hutchenson āCā No. 2-16, 1,620 feet FSL and 1,620 feet FEL of Section 16-18S-19W in the Atlanta Field of Columbia County. Total depth was to 7,806 feet in the Cotton Valley Zone, with perforations between 7,248 and 7,306 feet. Daily production is 66 barrels of 42-gravity oil and 70 mcf of natural gas. Work was finished August 28.
Bonanza Creek Energy Resources has completed two wells in the Dorcheat Macedonia Field of Columbia County, both in the Cotton Valley Zone.
The Franks No. 8-16 is 662 feet FSL and 1,012 feet FEL, bottom hole 1,015 feet FSL and 294 feet FEL of Section 16-18S-21W. It was drilled to 8,800 feet with perforations between 8,084 and 8,598 feet. Production is 30 barrels and 84.4 mcf. Work was finished September 5.
